SUMMARY: Acceptance of the appropriation of $67,900 from the Kitsap County Department of
Human Services to provide behavioral health services to reduce the number of people who recycle
through the criminal justice systems, hospitals, emergency rooms, and crisis services.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Agreement with Kitsap County for Behavioral Health Navigator Services; and
2) Supplemental Email with Handout
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): During the 2021 budget process, $30,000 was
approved to augment the cost of a Behavioral Health Navigator.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the agreement with the Kitsap County Department of Human Services, and to
