SUMMARY: The project consists of video inspection and pipe cleaning services for approximately
6500 lineal feet of sewer pipe along Burwell Street and Warren Avenue. These streets are principal
arterials and preparation and implementation of traffic control plans will be required throughout the
Work.
Requests for bids were sent to contractors off the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC)
Small Works Roster. Bids were opened on January 14, 2021. Six (6) bids were received. The lowest
responsive, responsible bidder was Pipeline Video Inspection LLC dba AIMS Companies, who
submitted a bid in the amount of $ 57,970.56 including sales tax.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award the contract for the Burwell/Warren Sewer Pipe Cleaning and Video Inspection to
Pipeline Video Inspection LLC dba AIMS Companies, in the amount of $ 57,970.56 (which includes
sales tax); and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as presented.
