SUMMARY: The Maintenance Agreement for Elevator Service of Public Works &Utilities is due to
soon expire. This new contract addendum for a (5) five-year term extension is required and allowed
by current city contract No. 5543 with Otis Elevator Company for maintenance services. The
department requests approval of the contract addendum for five (5) years from February 28, 2021 to
February 28, 2026.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Base Contract No. 5543; 2) Contract addendum for (5) ive-year extension with
Otis Elevator Company
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $32,919.74 is budgeted for this Maintenance
Agreement in 2021 and would be budgeted for the remaining term of the contract. Annual CPI
adjustments are identified in the base contract, and are not amended with the contract Addendum.
