SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton and Kitsap County entered into an agreement for incarceration
of prisoners on January 22, 2018 ("Agreement"), and subsequently entered into amended
agreements through December 31, 2020. For calendar year 2021, the City will pay $157.05 per full
bed -day.
ATTACHMENTS: Third Amendment to Kitsap County/City of Bremerton Agreement for
Incarceration of City Prisoners.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The 2021 Budget was adjusted for the new rate.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Third Amendment to the Kitsap County/City of Bremerton Agreement for
Incarceration of City Prisoners; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
