SUMMARY: The adjacent property owner has petitioned the City to vacate a portion of the 12' alley
adjacent to the old Manette TV building to allow for building improvements. The proposed vacation
area fronts two properties; 2105 E. 11 t" Street (applicant) and 2109 E. 11 t" Street; both property
owners have signed the petition to vacate which complies with BMC 11.20.070 which states "if the
petition is signed by two-thirds of the property on a front footage basis ... the council, shall by
resolution, fix a time when the petition will be heard. No city or franchise utilities are in the subject
area.
