SUMMARY: The City bid the project using the MRSC Small Publics Works Roster, opening bids on
October 2"1, 2020 and two bids were received. Apply -A -Line, LLC is the lowest, responsive
responsible bidder with their bid of $113,700.00, including sales tax. The project refreshes
reflectorized pavement markings (RPM's) on Kitsap Way. The project also includes the installation of
channelization on recently chip sealed roadways, including Rickey Road, Pearl Street, Trenton
Avenue, Pitt Avenue, Winfield Avenue, 111h Street, 6' Street, Marion Avenue and Adele Avenue.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The project is budgeted at $200,000 in the 2020
Budget, with $30,000 from the Residential Streets Fund and $1701000 from the Street Fund.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Public Works Agreement with Apply -A -Line, LLC for the 2020 Pavement
Marking Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented.
