SUMMARY: The action before the Council is to conduct a public hearing for the 2019 Comprehensive
Plan Amendment Docket and associated zoning code amendments. To maintain consistency through the
Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code, this action includes two ordinances as follows:
1. Ordinance No. 5389 is to amend the Comprehensive Plan text and land use maps; and
2. Ordinance No. 5390 is to amend the Zoning Code text and maps to maintain consistency with the
Comprehensive Plan.

• Memo Attachment I: Modifications of Multifamily Residential Land Use Designation and
Land Use Map Change for Anderson Cove
• Memo Attachment II: Modification of land use map on Werner Road

2. Proposed Ordinance No. 5389 with the following Exhibits:

• Exhibit B: Comprehensive Plan Land Use Element replacement page for Multifamily
Residential modifications
• Exhibit C: New official Land Use Maps (#1, #2, #3, and#4) with amendments (name
change and two modified areas in Maps#2 and #4) reflected in those maps
• Exhibit D: Close-up of Land Use district showing change from Multifamily Residential to
Medium Density Residential
• Exhibit E: Close-up of Land Use district showing change from Industrial to Low Density
Residential
3. Proposed Ordinance No. 5390 with the following Exhibit:
• Exhibit A: New official Zoning Maps (#1, #2, #3, and #4) with amendments (name
change and two modified areas in Maps#2 and #4) reflected in those maps

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to pass Ordinance No. 5389 adopting amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Text and
Official Land Use Map.
Move to pass Ordinance No. 5390 adopting Zoning Code text and Zoning map amendments to
Bremerton Municipal Code Title 20, Zoning Code to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan
amendments.
