CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES
Wednesday, October 30, 2019
The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the
Mayor's Conference Room 637 of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER located at 345 6th Street,
Bremerton, Washington, on Wednesday, October 30, 2018, at 3:00 PM, with Council President
Eric Younger presiding. Council members present were Richard Huddy, Michael Goodnow, Lori
Wheat, Kevin Gorman, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Financial Services
Director Mike Riley; and Assistant Financial Services Director Caroline Tompson. Legislative
Office Manager Lori Smith was present to provide staff support to the Council.
President Younger announced that tonight's Budget Workshop was for the Council to hear
presentations on the proposed 2020 Budget. It was further announced that this Budget
Workshop was open to the public, but there would be no opportunities for input or participation;
that no action will be taken, and the content of these items is subject to change.
Financial Services Director Mike Riley and Public Works Director Tom Knuckey led
presentations on the Public Works & Utilities Department.
President Younger announced that the next Budget Workshop will be on Monday, November 4
beginning at 4:15 PM in the Mayor's Conference Room.
With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Budget Workshop at 5:55 PM.
