SUMMARY: On September 11, 1991 the City passed Ordinance No. 4341 to annex property east of
Oyster Bay Avenue and south of 1st Street (see attached excerpt from the Ordinance.) The property
limits stated in the legal description of the Ordinance were inaccurate, and as a result an island of
County was created within the City. The proposed Ordinance corrects the property limits from the
1991 annexation and incorporates into the City limits that portion of 1st Street and that portion of
Oyster Bay Avenue located within the County per RCW 35.21.790.

Move to pass Ordinance No. 5375 revising the Corporate Boundary with Kitsap County to incorporate
into the City limits that portion of 1St Street and that portion of Oyster Bay Avenue located within the
County.
