SUMMARY: Property adjacent to the Public Works & Utilities Operation Center at 100 Oyster Bay
Avenue North is required for current and future growth for operations and maintenance expansion.
The property to the north of the existing City property was available and an offer was made to
purchase the parcel. The offer was accepted, pending City Council approval and mutual acceptance
by the City and the property owners; Peterson Neil J Family LLC. In the amount of$125,000.00.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Purchase amount of$125,000.00. There is
$200,000.00 in the 2019 Utility CIP Budget for these property acquisitions.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Commercial & Investment Real Estate Purchase & Sale Agreement with
Peterson Neil J Family LLC for property located at Oyster Bay Avenue North, Lot 007-02 for
$125,000.00; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented.
