SUMMARY: The proposed revisions to Chapter 15.03 of the Bremerton Municipal Code clarify
responsibilities and requirements and make related changes. In 2014 responsibility for the portion of
sewer laterals from the property (or easement) line to the sewer main was transferred from the City
to the adjacent property owner; this update would transfer that responsibility back to the City.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City would resume responsibility for physical
repairs to sanitary sewer laterals in the right-of-way
