SUMMARY: The low voltage drivers for the existing festoon lights were faulty and the lights needed
to be replaced with a new system that did not require these drivers. The new lighting system is 120
volts with no drivers and the bulbs are easily replace and available locally.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the purchase of replacement Festoon Lighting from
CED for 4th Street (between Pacific and Park Avenues) in the amount of$25,552.51 (which includes
WA State sales tax); and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
