SUMMARY: Requests for proposals were advertised to construct improvements to the east end of
the Equipment Services Building to enclose an existing bay to allow work to be completed on
vehicles and equipment during inclement weather. One bid was received from DP Wain
Construction, Inc., of Silverdale, WA. The bid was less than the Engineer's estimate of$250,000.
The Department requests approval of the Bid Award to DP Wain Construction, Inc. in the bid amount
of$176,580.00.

and 3) Bid Tabulation Form
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Bid Amount is $176,580.00 including WA State
Sales Tax. This amount is included in the 2019 budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award the contract with DP Wain Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Equipment
Services Building Addition Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement
with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
