Pre-Construction Topographic data collection of existing conditions (non-Prevailing wage) Location of Property: Site is located at 1017 Warren Ave, in Bremerton, Washington. Name and Address of Legal Owner of Property: City of Bremerton-Parks Dept. Brief description of site: The first area is the park/playfield and the abutting parking area are located on approximate 2 acres at the SW quadrant of Warren and 11th. The playfield area is predominantly a grass field and a large storage building, goal posts, sprinklers, storm water appurtenances, and some walls. A smaller grass play area is encumbered by a concrete bathroom facility and a'big toy' play pit filled with cedar chips. The entirety of this project is enclosed by a fenced perimeter which will serve as the limit of work except in areas encumbered by slopes, in which case the top of wall or edge of grass shall serve as the limit of work. The second area of concern is the parking area and road strip known as Broadway which leads to and serves the playfield. This area is encumbered by road and sidewalks and a gravel parking area and some steep slopes to the west. Abbreviated description of project scope: ➢ Topo mapping of the entire grass fields and play area out to the limit of the fences except as follows: To the East, some additional mapping shall extend to and include the curb and sidewalk along Warren where the break in the fence allows for pedestrian entry. Along the northwest portion of the large field, the toe of slope as defined by the edge of grass, and the top of walls to the west shall serve as the limit of mapping. CSI may elect to collect additional data in these areas in order to develop a general idea of the slope grade beyond these design limits. Contour and mapping data is not of high concern for the larger field. As such, data acquired for the dozen or so sprinkler heads, goal posts, and storm drainage elements shall serve as adequate information for grade determination. Along the sloping area between the two park areas, a row of trees and their drip lines shall be located and mapped with higher detail (minimally 1' contour interval)to accommodate the design of an ADA ramp. The bathroom building shall be 'enveloped' at its overhang in consideration of the fact that this building is to be removed. The 'big toy' area pit shall be defined in order to determine its depth to the top of existing cedar shavings. The toy itself shall be enveloped, again, in consideration of the fact that it is to be removed. ➢ All utilities as marked by City determined consultants shall be mapped horizontally, without depth or diameters. This portion shall include all power poles within the entire project and the alignment of overhead power and phone. ➢ The length of Broadway extending from the curb line along 9th to the park shall be detailed to the extent necessary for engineering design and reconstruction to include 3 storm manholes and curb to curb along this length. ➢ Potions of the property east of Broadway will be mapped up to the existing fence and west edge of the garage defining surface elements and location of power connection. ➢ The gravel parking area shall be detailed with 1' contour intervals including the slope up to the fence line and the trees thereon. —CONSTRUCTION SERVICES A —ENGINEERING DATA COLLECTION —TOPOGRAPHIC MAPPING —LAND SURVEYS AND SUBDIVISIONS 5— Qoa /II D P.O.Box 1611 ,611_ ON ER VE NC . The purpose and limits of this research and monument control will be to determine where existing fences lay in relation to the potential boundary and if any discrepancies will be of concern. Beyond this review, no actual boundary determination work is considered a part of this scope. ➢ Additional and minimal follow-up visit(s) may be required to satisfy needs of project engineer and which may arise as the final product is reviewed. ➢ A Boundary survey of the easterly South line, and the southerly East line in order to determine full extent of City Public Deed. This boundary will primarily focus and be based upon Deed description and note occupation discrepancies, if any. Contractor(CSI Surveying) may change the outcome and results of the boundary after consulting with City Legal Counsel. Price/Fee: • A lump sums fee which include all accessory costs for travel; research, review and data collection; printing; clerical; mailings; and customer contact, the cost of which is broken out, below for review and evaluation purposes only. • Costs are based upon the information provided by Customer for the above, and as discussed during a site walk, described services on the Property("Services"). • Acquisition and review of any additional documents or site-specific information provided by Customer which may assist in performance of this project shall not bear additional costs. TOPOGRAPHIC MAP AND DESIGN DELIVERABLES: CSI Shall provide to the City Parks Staff(Parks), a CAD file (Autocad Version 2013 or newer)for use by the Park's consultant engineer or others. The use and alteration of this file shall be at the discretion of Parks and their consultant with the understanding that any manipulation of the data from its original delivered form or format is done at those entities own risks and the CSI cannot be held responsible or liable for any such changes.
