SUMMARY: Redflex Traffic Systems to provide photo enforcement and a school zone program
which includes processing of infraction data and issuance of citations in nine locations across the
city. The agreement includes two options to renew for periods of two years each. This modification
is the exercise of the first, two-year renewal period.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) 2-year renewal notice; and 2) Accident & Infraction Statistics
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): There is no change to the original contract
amount. This contract is cost neutral with a fixed fee of$4,000 per month per camera location, with
nine locations, but is capped at the gross receipts received by the City of Bremerton or the fee
whichever is less. The program is within budget and included in the general fund.
