SUMMARY: This agreement provides technical support for the 2019 Water System Plan Update.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Professional Services Agreement (that sets the terms and conditions);
2) Draft Scope of Services and Schedule (Exhibits A and B); and
3) Fee Schedule (Exhibit C)
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Agreement not-to-exceed cost is $202,000. This
two-year project was budgeted in the 2018 Water Utility Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) at $50,000
and in the 2019 CIP at $200,000 (total of$250,000). In lieu of carryover of the unspent $50,000 from
2018 to 2019, $50,000 will be proposed in the 2020 CIP to complete the update.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Bremerton and BHC
Consultants, LLC for the 2019 Water System Plan Update; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
