SUMMARY: The City is seeking approval to extend the current Goods and Services Agreement with
Cintas Fire Protection for two years, this contract allows two two-year extensions and this will be the
second two-year extension, with negotiated rate increases of 20% for services, $5.00 per month per
each monitored account and the new rate schedule for Fire Extinguisher equipment services, also to
include a negotiated rate increase of 5% for the second year of the extension.
ATTACHMENTS: 1. Amendment No. 3 to extend contract#5509, with negotiated rate increases.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Total annual cost of contract is $56,687.94 per
year. This amount is included in the 2019 budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Amendment No.3 of the Goods and Services Agreement with Cintas Fire Protection
with a 2-year extension and negotiated rate increases; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
