SUMMARY: The current lease agreement for the Gold Mountain Golf Course fleet of golf, beverage
and utility carts expires onMay 31.2019. The Golf Management team from Columbia Hospitality has
solicited and received proposals from three golf cart vendors. Staff recommendation ietoenter into a
48 month lease with Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. for 2019 model year vehicles as follows:

4 four -passenger marshal carts
~ 3 beveragecoUo
w 1 utility cart
Lease Amounts: $8.045monthly; $1O3.74Oannually and $414.9OOthrough the 48months.
The cost ofthe 4year lease iorecouped through cart rental revenue. Gross cart rental revenue in
2018was $520.500. The new fleet ofcarts will provide additional revenue potential thorough
increased cart rentals and green fees while reducing fuel and maintenance costs.

[Wove to approve Lease Agreement between Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. and the City for golf
carts; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same
