SUBJECT: 2019 Dues for the City of Study Session Date: December 12, 2018
Bremerton to Rejoin the Kitsap Regional COUNCIL MEETING Date: December 19, 2018

SUMMARY: The Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council Board recognizes Bremerton as an integral
part of the Kitsap region, and believe that Bremerton's membership on the Council would be mutually
beneficial and strengthen a collaborative approach to land use and transportation issues of benefit to
the region. The KRCC Board acknowledges reservations expressed by the City of Bremerton, and
proposed to amend the KRCC Interlocal Agreement and Bylaws at the next KRCC Board Meeting on
December 4, 2018 regarding the voting structure and quorum per the attached letter.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to authorize payment of $25,900 for 2019 dues to rejoin KRCC beginning in January 2019; and
authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
