SUMMARY:
The 2019 Budget includes $100,000 for a Rental Assistance, and it was anticipated that this program
would be administered by Bremerton Housing Authority (BHA). The attached Professional Services
Agreement implements this budgeted program.
Highlights of the contract are as follows:
1) Administrative costs that can be billed by BHA are capped at $10,000
2) $90,000 will be used for rental assistance for households whose income is between 40 and 60%
of Area Median Income (AMI) of Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
income limits.

Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement with Bremerton Housing Authority for the
2019 Rental Assistance Program; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement
with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
