SUMMARY: In March 2018 a Professional Services Agreement was approved with Parametrix for
the design of the Kitsap Lake Elementary Safe Routes to School Project. The preliminary design has
been completed, and the City is ready to begin the next step of the project which is securing
necessary right-of-way. Supplement No. 2 with Parametrix allows this work to begin with Universal
Field Services, Inc.; their cost is $107,965. This work was anticipated in the original contract;
however, definition of the work scope and fee were deferred until after completion of the preliminary
design when the ROW needs are more clearly defined.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This work is included in the project budget.
$10,000 is grant eligible, with remaining costs paid by REET.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Parametrix, Inc., for Right -of -Way Services;
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
