SUMMARY: Approved in June 2016, Interlocal Agreement 3516 with Kitsap County provides the
basis for paving services performed within the City limits. In 2016, the County paved Riddell Road,
which was a project included in the 2016 Bremerton Transportation Benefit District expense budget.
In March 2016, the City assumed the rights, powers, functions and obligations of the Bremerton
Transportation Benefit District, eliminating the necessity of maintaining a separate entity.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Total project costs of $50,892.71 were invoiced to
the City in 2018. Funding sources for this obligation were transferred to the Residential Street Fund
after the assumption of the District by the City.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the payment of $50,892.71 for 2016 Riddell Road Paving Charges from the
Transportation Benefit District Funds currently held in the Residential Streets Fund; and also
authorize an expenditure budget adjustment for the same amount.
