HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/19/2018 6A AGENDA BILL �� CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Professional Services Study Session Date: September 12, 2018 Agreement with Rice Fergus Miller COUNCIL MEETING Date: September 19, 2018 Architects for design of the Quincy Square Department: Public Works & Utilities on 4th Street Project Presenter: Katie Ketterer Phone: (360)473-5334 SUMMARY: Staff advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications and based on an evaluation of the qualifications received from three firms, staff has determined Rice Fergus Miller is the most qualified to provide the design for the Quincy Square on 4th Street project. RFM will design and provide full plans, specifications and estimates for improvements to 4th Street from Washington Avenue to Pacific Avenue. A scope of work was submitted and the contract was negotiated in the amount of$495,000. ATTACHMENTS: 1. Professional Services Agreement with Rice Fergus Miller, Inc. FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City received a CDBG grant($300,000) and a State Appropriation ($250,000)to fund the design of the Quincy Square on 4th Street project, and the work is in the 2018 budget.
