SUMMARY: The City has received a $100,000 Ecology Stormwater Financial Assistance Program
(SFAP) grant to design new sidewalks and stormwater treatment systems on E 11 th Street between
Perry Ave and Pitt Ave. The design will include stormwater treatment systems, new porous concrete
sidewalks, ADA ramps, and new trees. Public outreach will be an integral part of the design process.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $100,000 total project cost is funded with $75,000
from the Ecology grant and $25,000 City match. The grant match has been identified in the 2019
Storm Water Utility Capital Fund.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to accept the Washington State Department of Ecology Stormwater Financial Assistance
Program Grant for the E. 11t"' Street Stormwater Treatment Retrofit Design; and authorize the Mayor
to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
