SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Court applied to the Office of Public Defense for additional
grant money and was awarded a grant in the amount of $1,062.00.
This grant money is to be used towards registration and travel for public defense attorney training in
2018. The grant was applied for on behalf of Ian DeVema with the contracted firm of LaCross &
Murphy.
ATTACHMENTS: Amendment to Grant Agreement No. 18491
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The OPD grant is for $1,062.00 to be used only for
public defense training and travel. This grant was applied for on behalf of the public defender's office
and the City is just a pass through for these funds. There are no matching funds required.

Move to accept the First Amendment to the Washington State Office of Public Defense Grant
