SUMMARY: The action before Council is to adopt an ordinance amending Section 2.50.030 of the
Bremerton Municipal Code to amend language relating to the salary plan for management and
professional staff as follows:
1. Removes the requirement that a salary survey for each position be conducted every five (5)
years; and
2. Requires that assigned salary bands shall not be changed or established without conducting
a salary survey for the position being changed and that all changes must be approved by the
Mayor and City Council.
