SUMMARY: Presentation by Mike Verdoorn, Principal Consultant for Arthur J. Gallagher &
Company, on the Salary Study and recommended changes (for 2018) to the Teamster Local 589 and
Management/Professional salary schedules.
ATTACHMENTS: Salary Study Slide Show, proposed 2018 Management and Professional Salary
Schedule, Proposed 2018 Teamsters Salary Schedule, Summary of Proposed Changes for each
employee group, and copies of the 2017 draft Salary Schedules for both Management and
Professional and Teamsters employees (schedules used to conduct the salary study), Management
and Professional Employees Appendix A.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The projected additional cost of implementing the
salary study (for 2018) is approximately $205,000. The funds for 2018 are included in the set aside of
the recently approved budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to accept the salary study recommendations presented#o implement those
