SUMMARY: The current Centrisys centrifuge and panel was installed in 2009. The panel hardware
and software have aged, so that they are no longer being supported by the industry.
Staff requested a proposal from Centrisys the manufacturer of the centrifuge, on the cost, installation
and programming of the new control panel. We requested a turnkey installation as this is beyond the
capability of our staff due to the amount of time and programming involved.
Centrisys proposal for the centrifuge panel modification and upgrade is $62,021 including WA State
use tax.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This work is budgeted through the WW CIP under
SCADA Upgrade; and has a budget of $150,000.
