SUMMARY: Requests for proposals were prepared, distributed and received in accordance with
City Bid Procedures. Five bids were received. The low bidder is Burdick Heating out of Bremerton,
Washington. The Department requests approval of the Goods and Services Agreement for five years
with an optional five year negotiated extension, adjusted for COLA.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Goods and Services Agreement, 2) Bid Proposal, 3) Bid Tabulation Form
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Total annual cost of Agreement is $16,587.00 per
year plus Washington State sales tax. This amount is included in the 2018 budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the contract award with Burdick Heating for HVAC Services and Maintenance in the
amount of $82,935.00 plus Washington State sales tax; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
