SUMMARY: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended $45,000 be allocated to
Washington State Science & Engineering Fair for the 2018 funding year. City Council approved the
recommendation at the July 19, 2017 Council Meeting and the $45,000 allocation was included in the
2018 Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 5341 on November 20, 2017.
Pursuant to BMC 2.76.100, contracts over $25,000 require Council approval.

Move to approve Tourism Promotion Services Agreement with Washington State Science &
Engineering Fair in the amount of $45,000, and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement with substantially the sage- terms and conditions as presented.
