SUMMARY: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended $40,000 be allocated to Visit
Kitsap Peninsula for the 2018 funding year. City Council approved the recommendation at the July
19, 2017 Council Meeting and the $40,000 allocation was included in the 2018 Budget adopted by
Ordinance No. 5341 on November 20, 2017.
Pursuant to BMC 2-.76.1-00-, contracts over $25,000- require Council approval-.

Move to approve Tourism Promotion Services Agreement with Visit Kitsap Peninsula in the amount
of $40,000, and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented-.
