Proposed is a re -allocation of funds from the position of Risk Management Specialist to the position
of Risk Manager and to make the appropriate budget adjustments. The position of Risk Management
Specialist will become vacant after May 4t'. A market analysis determined that the position should
be filled as a Risk Manager, which is on the City's Management and Professional pay schedule, but
is not funded in the current budget.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount):
The Legal Department Expenditure Budget will be increased for Personnel $ 43,630, the Legal
Department Charges for Services Revenue Budget and Risk Management Expenditure Budget will
be increased by $34,600 each.

Move to authorize and fund the Risk Manager position beginning April 1st and end funding of the
Risk Management Specialist May 5tt ; and authorize Budget Adjustments to Increase Legal
Department Expenditure Budget for Personnel $ 43,630, Increase Legal Department Charges for
Services Revenue Budget and Risk Management Expenditure Budget by $34,600 each.
