SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Code authorizes the Risk Management Specialist, with the
approval of the City Attorney, to bind insurance and then requires City Council approval for
continuation of the bound coverage. Insurance will be bound as follows:
1. Excess liability with Allied World National Assurance Company at an annual cost of $169,158
(including terrorism)
2. Excess Workers' Compensation with Midwest Employers Casualty Company at an annual
cost of $48,607
3. Crime insurance with Great American Insurance Group at an annual cost of $3,773
ATTACHMENTS: None
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Adequate funds are available for these insurance
renewals within the Risk Management Fund.
