SUMMARY: The action before City Council is to approve Phase II of the East Park Final Plat.
Preliminary Plat approval was granted by the Administrative Hearings Examiner in June of 2006 for
the subdivision of 48 acres into 454 housing units. Phase I of East Park was approved by Resolution
3071 on November 19, 2008 for 86 lots and open space tracts and infrastructure on approximately
11 acres. This proposal will grant final approval for 88 lots, associated open space tracts and right-of-
ways. The applicant has met all of the conditions of the Preliminary Plat approval for this phase by
both infrastructure completion and bonding and therefore the City Engineer and Community
Development Director are recommending that the City Council approve this final plat.
