HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/20/2017 7GAGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON 7G CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Bremerton Police Officers' Guild Study Session Date: December 13, 2017 COUNCIL MEETING Date: December 20. 2017 Department: Legal/Human Resources Presenter: Charlotte Nelson Phone: A360) 473-5926 SUMMARY: Pursuant to RCW 41.56, negotiations have concluded between representatives of the City and the Bremerton Police Officers' Guild (BPOG) resulting in the attached Collective Bargaining Agreement for 2018 through 2020. The agreement includes a 3% wage adjustment for 2018, a 2.5% for 2019, and a 2.5% for 2020. The Collective Bargaining Agreement has been ratified by the BPOG membership. Council approval is required to implement this agreement. ATTACHMENTS: Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Bremerton and the Bremerton Police Officer's Guild FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The projected additional cost of implementing this three year Collective Bargaining Agreement is approximately $1,098,198. The funds for 2018 are included in the recently approved budget.
