CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES
Monday, November 6, 2017
The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the
Mayor's Conference Room 637 of the DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER located at 345 6th Street,
Bremerton, Washington, Monday, November 6, 2017, at 4:15 PM, with Council President Eric
Younger presiding. Council members present were Richard Huddy, Greg Wheeler, Jerry.
McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Council Member Dino Davis was absent. Also
present were Financial Services Director DeWayne Pitts; Assistant Financial Services Director
Mike Riley; and Budget Analyst Caroline Tompson. Legislative Assistant Lori Smith was
present to provide staff support to the Council.
DeWayne Pitts, Financial Services Director, provided background on Public Works & Utilities,
Streets and Sidewalks; Transportation Projects; Utility Operations & Capital; Gold Mountain
Golf Course; Utility Rates; and Equipment Maintenance and Reserve.
Following comments and questions from Council Members, President Younger announced;
that the next Budget Workshop will be held on Thursday, November 9 beginning at 4:15 PM in
the Mayor's Conference Room...
With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Budget Workshop at 7:00 PM.
