SUMMARY: Parametrix has been performing groundwater monitoring and reporting to the
Department of Ecology for the former Chevron Property since remediation was completed in 2012.
Contract Modification No. 1 provided scope and budget to complete all monitoring and reporting
through 2017; over $73,000 of that budget still remains. Contract Modification No. 2 was a schedule
extension with no modification to the scope or budget. This Contract Modification No. 3 supplements
the existing contract to continue groundwater monitoring and reporting until 2022 when the site is
expected to meet cleanup levels in compliance with Department of Ecology regulations.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): No fiscal impact to 2017 Budget. $17,000 is
included in the proposed 2018 Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Contract Modification Agreement No. 3 between the City of Bremerton and
Parametrix for the former Chevron Property Remediation; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
