SUMMARY: Administration is recommending changes to the Bremerton Municipal Code to
incorporate Commuter Parking Zones and have the authority to issue Commuter Permits. This is the
first step in establishing a Commuter Parking Program.
The ordinance also expands the area for nuisance violators from parking in only the downtown core
to all restricted parking zones in the City.
This amendment has a housekeeping item as well. It moves on -street paid parking from BMC Title
11 entitled "Streets and Right -of -Way" to BMC Title 10 entitled "Traffic," and re-establishes and
updates current on -street paid parking zones.
