For an in consideration of maintenance of the Kitsap 9-11 Memorial as established in the
Agreement executed September 16, 2013, the City of Bremerton agrees to, allow VFW Post 239,
a non-profit 501(c) corporation, to store a 9/11 Memorial Parade Float at 3027 Olympus Drive,
Bremerton, Washington from September 25, 2017 until such time as the storage interferes with
the City's operations.
Hold Harmless and Express Assumption of Risk and Release of Future Claims
The undersigned, in consideration for the receipt of the above-mentioned storage area agrees to
forever release and hold harmless the City of Bremerton, its officers, employees, volunteers,
agents, successors and assigns (including any and all insurance policies purchased by the City of
Bremerton) for any injuries or damage or loss that may occur as a result of its property being
stored at 3027 Olympus Drive no matter the cause of the damage or injury.
The City has the right, .at its convenience, to terminate the use of the storage area upon 30 days
written notice.
THIS AGREEMENT WAIVES YOUR RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM THE CITY OF
BREMERTON FOR UNKNOWN INJURY AND DAMAGES THAT MAY RESULT. THE
UNDERSIGNED ASSUMES THE RISK THAT IT HAS LIMITED KNOWLEDGE
REGARDING FUTURE DAMAGES AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVES FUTURE CLAIMS
FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR.
