SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance amends Chapter 5.02 of the Bremerton Municipal Code
entitled "General Business Licenses" by amending Section 5.02.040 entitled "Definitions" by
modifying the definition of "ancillary rental'.
The amendment of 2) and removal of 3) from the definition of "Ancillary rental' removes the
Accessory Dwelling Unit ("ADU") exception from the definition of "Engaging in business" which
triggers the General Business License requirement.
