FTE) "Producer" Position in BKAT for 2017 COUNCIL MEETING Date: September 6, 2017

SUMMARY: BKAT is asking to add a Producer position on October 2, 2017. This is a new position
to take on the duties of scheduling and preparing interviews, special segments and social media for
BKAT. These duties are currently done by the Public Access Manager. The current Manager will be
retiring at the end of December. Adding this part time position on in October, 2017 allows proper .
training/mentoring for seamless BKAT sustainability. This position will continue in the 2018 BKAT
Budget as a .5 FTE.
