SUMMARY:
With assistance from private donations and state grants, Manette Playfield .will soon be improved
with a picnic shelter, new restroom, multi -use sports court, updated play area, walking paths, new
sports field lighting, benches and landscape beautification. In light of these planned improvements, a
name change to Manette Park is more descriptive of the facilities' current and future use. The
Bremerton Parks and Recreation Commission voted unanimously to recommend the name change
from Manette Playfield to Manette Park at their June 27th, 2017 meeting.
