HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/21/2017 8AAGENDA BILL �� CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Local Agency Contract with Study Session Date: Massana Construction, Inc. for the Crownhill COUNCIL MEETING Date: Elementary Safe Routes to School Project Department: June 14, 2017 June 2.1, 2017 PW&U Presenter: Shane Weber Phone: (360) 473-2354 SUMMARY: The City bid the project and bids were opened on June 9, 2017 and 3 bids were received. Massana Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with their bid of $456,101.00. The Washington State Department of Transportation is required to concur with the City's recommendation to award the contract; staff have recommended the bid for approval. The contract is in WSDOT standard format as required for Federal Aid Projects; the complete contract is available for review in the Engineering Office. The project constructs sidewalks, some drainage improvements, and a rapid flashing beacon in the vicinity of the school.
