HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/21/2017 7BAGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON 7B CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Public Hearing on Resolution Study Session Date: 14, 2017 No. 3291 to adopt the 2018 CDBG/HOME COUNCIL MEETING Date: _June June 21, 2017 Policy Plan; and announce the release of the Department: DCD-Block Grant Request for Funding Proposals for the 2018 Presenter: Sarah Achaoui Program Year Phone: (360) 473-5375 SUMMARY: The action before Council is adoption of the 2018 Policy Plan. The Policy Plan is a document which is updated yearly which sets parameters for the management of our HUD entitlement grant awards and provides specific information about the policies and regulations for the use of HUD CDBG and HOME funds. This plan was released on May 12 for public comment, and to date there have been no comments made. Staff will also be announcing that the Request for Funding Proposals for CDBG funds will be available on June 23rd and due July 14"'. All potential applicants must attend a mandatory Technical Assistance session on June 28th ATTACHMENTS: 1. Staff Memo 2.
