SUMMARY: This no-cost amendment to SCJ Alliance's design services contract for the Lebo
Boulevard Roadway Improvement Project will extend construction administration services into the
construction phase. This contract is for$54,397 plus a management reserve component of$36,176,
for a total of$90,573. SCJ Alliance's original design services contract was $591,984. The Lebo
project was designed and bid for$501,411; therefore this amendment changes the scope (as
envisioned in the original contract) to carry SCJ Alliance's services through construction.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Lebo Boulevard Road Improvement Project is
funded with a Transportation Improvement Board grant of$4,942,722; City Stormwater Utility funding
of$913,514, and City Water Utility funding of approximately $113,000.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Amendment No. 1 to SCJ Alliance's consultant services agreement in the amount
of$90,573 for the Lebo Boulevard Roadway Improvement Project; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
