SUBJECT: 2013 Budget Amendment BOARD MEETING Date: March 20, 2013

SUMMARY: The 2013 Bremerton Transportation Benefit District (TBD) Budget was adopted and
approved on August 15, 2012. At the time of adoption, we anticipated a beginning fund balance of
$75,047. This amount had been decreased from the original anticipated 2012 revenues of$150,093
based on the experience of other transportation districts within the state for first year revenue
collection. Actual receipts for 2012, which translates to the 2013 beginning fund balance, were
$160,676. As such, the attached ordinance amends the 2013 Budget to reflect actual beginning fund
balance.
There is no change to the budgeted expenditures anticipated for fiscal year 2013.
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance No. 002 amending the fiscal year 2013 TBD budget.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): An increase to the TBD 2013 beginning fund
balance of$85,629 and a corresponding increase to the anticipated TBD 2013 ending fund balance
of $85,629.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Ordinance No. 2 of the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District Board amending
Ordinance No. 1 relating to the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District fiscal year 2013 Budget.
