SUMMARY: This Professional Services Agreement will augment our in-house staff as the Lebo
Boulevard construction gets underway. We identified four qualified consultants utilizing the MRSC
web service and requested consultants submit written qualification packages. Two consultants
responded. Parametrix, Inc. was chosen as best qualified to provide construction management
services for this project, based on the selection criteria. This contract is for $233,875. Expected total
expense for the construction management is $555,408.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Lebo Boulevard Road Improvement Project is
funded with a Transportation Improvement Board grant of$4,942,722; City Stormwater Utility funding
of$913,514, and City Water Utility funding of approximately $113,000.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve a Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, Inc. for Construction
Management Services in the amount of$233,875.00 for the Lebo Boulevard Roadway Improvement
Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as presented.
