SUMMARY: The project will install a new 36" stormwater outfall and T-diffuser to accommodate the
increased stormwater flow resulting from the East Park residential development. The existing outfall
is 18" and currently undersized to accommodate the additional flow in the basin from East Park.
There were ten bids submitted which were opened on March 9, 2017. The lowest responsive,
responsible bidder was Scarsella Brothers who submitted a bid in the amount of$374,428 including
Washington State sales tax.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award the contract for the construction of the East Park Stormwater Outfall Project to
Scarsella Brothers in the amount of$374,428 including Washington State sales tax; and authorize
the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
