SUMMARY: The work under this contract includes the installing of 1,415 lineal feet of 10" fused
HDPE sewer main including all valves, fittings and appurtenances. Project site is located within an
existing easement northwest of Pendergast Park in Kitsap County WA.
There were nine (9) bids submitted which were opened on February 8, 2017. The lowest responsive,
responsible bidder was Utility Pipeline Contractors, Inc. who submitted a bid in the amount of
$180,413.5311(which includes estimated sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The project is fully funded in the 2017 Wastewater
Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the bid from Utility Pipeline Contractors, Inc. for the Kitsap Lake Interceptor Siphon
Replacement Project in the amount of $180,413.53; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute
the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
