SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton and the Kitsap Public Health District wish to enter a Services
Reimbursement Agreement. This is a cooperative effort in which the City will reimburse the District
for its payments to the Salvation Army for security services, and the Salvation Army will provide
security services at its 6th Street facility. The funds will assist the Health District as it administers a
mental health grant from Kitsap County; the grant's aim is to provide mental health outreach services.
The agreement between the District and the Salvation Army is attached as Exhibit A.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Services Reimbursement Agreement with Kitsap Public Health District;
2) Exhibit A - Professional Services Agreement between Kitsap Public Health District and the
Salvation Army; and 3) Interlocal Agreement for Professional Services between Kitsap County and
the Kitsap Public Health District
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This item is included in the 2017 Budget in Non -
Departmental not to exceed $30,000

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Services Reimbursement Agreement with Kitsap Public Health District in the
amount not to exceed $30,000 for security services at the Salvation Army; and authorize the Mayor
to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
